Terms of Service

By accessing or using https://icollab.my, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

1. Platform Overview

iCollab is a web-based platform operated by Mimo Training Sdn Bhd that connects independent Trainers with Training Providers for the purpose of collaboration, session management, training registration, and related services.

By registering an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms of Service.

2. User Accounts

  • Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • One account is permitted per user or legal entity unless explicitly approved by iCollab
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Accounts are non-transferable

3. Platform Usage Rules

By using iCollab, you agree NOT to:

  • Misuse the platform or use it for any unlawful purpose
  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Attempt to bypass any security, authentication, or access control mechanism
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the platform without authorisation
  • Engage in conduct that is discriminatory, harassing, or harmful to other users
  • Use the platform to engage in unfair competition or to solicit other users outside of platform processes

4. Payments

iCollab operates on a pay-per-use model. Fees apply in the following circumstances:

  • Training Providers spend tokens per collaboration request sent to Trainers
  • Tokens are purchased in packages via Stripe; prices are displayed at time of purchase
  • Session registration payments are processed through Stripe and may include platform fees
  • All payments are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise specified
  • Fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated or required by law
  • iCollab reserves the right to update pricing with reasonable notice

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By making payments through the platform, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

5. Collaboration Responsibility

Important Disclaimer

iCollab acts solely as a platform to facilitate connections between Training Providers and Trainers. We are not a party to any agreement or arrangement made between users.

iCollab is not responsible for:

  • The quality, accuracy, or outcomes of any training delivered
  • Disputes arising between Trainers and Training Providers
  • Non-performance or cancellation by either party
  • Payment disputes between parties
  • The accuracy of information submitted by users

Users are encouraged to exercise their own due diligence before entering into any collaboration arrangement.

6. Content and Data

Users retain ownership of the content they upload to iCollab. By uploading content, you grant iCollab a limited licence to store, display, and use that content solely to provide platform services.

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and legality of all content you upload
  • Participant data you input during training registration
  • Compliance with applicable data protection laws (including PDPA Malaysia)
  • Obtaining necessary consents from participants before submitting their data

iCollab reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Termination

iCollab reserves the right to, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Remove content that is in breach of these Terms or applicable law
  • Restrict access to any feature or part of the platform

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any purchased tokens or fees, except where required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iCollab (Mimo Training Sdn Bhd) and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Financial losses, loss of profit, or loss of revenue
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages
  • Business interruptions or loss of data
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the platform

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Use the platform at your own risk.

9. Changes to Terms

iCollab reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.

Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue use of the platform.
